Merry Christmas 2017

I hope you are having a Merry Christmas, wherever you may find yourself today.

Hopefully you have friends and family to spend the day with. In which case, walk away from the computer to go be with them. This site is not nearly as important as friends and family.

On the other hand, if you truly have nothing better to do today, and are spending your time wandering the technological marvel that is the internet, perhaps I can offer some direction fitting to the day for your wandering.

A number of churches record their sermons, for sharing with others. This is nothing new. I recall years back, recording sermons on tape, then CD. So it’s only logical that trend has continue to online streaming/download.

One preacher I enjoy listening to is Tom Nelson, of Denton Bible Media Ministry. Odds are good they will have something up for Christmas, if only the sermon from the day before.

He recently finished a series on the Protestant Reformation, which essentially summarized the past two thousand years of church history. And indirectly, civilization’s history as well. The 8 part series is about eight hours long, but if you’ve got nothing else to do this Christmas…
